Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Letter of 15 May 1648 (from Florence to Milan): "Laetor non parum te libenter accepisse negotium de nummis Passigniani confectum esse; conditionesque, quibus venditor acquiescit, non tibi prorsus iniquas videri; confidoque hominem in caeteris satis urbanum, si aliquid morae, tempori ad solutionem constituto fortasse fuerit addendum non impatientur laturum; et ideo hac de causa, mi Heinsi, nihil est quod accuratum. [later talks about buying numismatic books]" (I am very pleased that you willingly accept that the business concerning the Passignano coins is complete, and that the conditions, with which the seller agrees, do not seem at all unfair to you. I am also confident that the man, who is generally courteous, will patiently bear any delay which may perhaps shall be added to the time agreed for payment. And so, in this matter, my Heinsius, everything is ready.) (Leiden University Library MS BPL 1920, van Cavalcanti no. 10)
