Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 24 Apr 1704 (sans lieu) : Gives a long description of Coins, Medals and other objects dug up in Harlech Castle, of which he is Constable, mostly of Roman times, and also an Urn and other objects. Entreats Lhuyd to insert in his book the accounts of Harlech which he sent him. (see fols. 16 & 28). Understands that the golden Torque found at Harlech is now in one of the Colleges at Oxford and if Lhuyd can find it will he have a sketch of it drawn for him. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Ashmole 1815, f° 29).
