-Letter of 2 June 1691 (from Paris): "Super omnia autem exhilaravit me quam ad Toinardum exarasti epistola, ubi festive illi silentium improperas dicisque vereri ne sociale bellum cum Harduino adversum te adornet; hanc illi tradidi, improperando illi etiam silentium summum erga te; Morellio suam tradidi cui risum movi de iis quae Toinardo scribis; ab illo poscet sibi epistolam tuam legi cum primum illum inviset in carcere. Nondum potui scire quae sit vera lectio nummi Anazarbensis Maximini num. EN BNC vel ENC, quarum ex Toinardo (si non ad te prius mittat) aut ex Vaillantio ipso aut Dronio, curabimus etiam typos ad te mitti nummorum cymelii regii, si qui sint ibi in usum tuum, quum cymeliarcham Odinetum amicum nostrum videbimus. Existimat Toinardus se ad sex usque epochas Gazae invenisse, sed de hoc non convenit Morellius; Vaillantius Reges Aegypti in lucem mittere intendit, cum typographus Batavus illi petierit imprimendos, et me rogavit ut scriberem in hanc rem amico nostro Graevio" (Pélissier 1903, Lettre XII, p. 208-210).
