'As to the British coins, I desire only figures of such as are not already published, and would not trouble you for a sight of the coins themselves. But if you should happen to have duplicates either of coin, or other antiquity, or fossil, that you shall guess would be acceptable here, your kindness will be thankfully acknowledged.'
