-Lettre du 7 février 1690 (de Pise) : "Liber meus de Epochis Syromacedonum invita Lucina in lucem tandem emissus est; nam qui characteres compingebat oculorum usum fere amisit, qui vero nummorum typos imprimebat, cum adhuc decem numismata imprimenda superessent phtisi extinctus, est, suosque annos absolvit priusquam volumini de Syrorum annisinem imponeret, unus auctor mitiora fata expertus sum, quae mercenariis nostris operis adeo iniqua suere. intra paucos dies pluria exemplaria Massiliam transmittam, inde ad vos Parisios deportanda. addidi Fastos Anonimi a Toinardo ac Pagio nostris expetitos, quos e Bibliotheca Vindebonensi obtinui. […] denique adjeci dissertationem de nummo Herodis Antipae cum anno Tetrarchia eiusdem XLIII. de quo me V.C. Pagius consultum voluit. Habes igitur absolutam libri editionem, qui nihil nisi invidiam fatis, quae, uti dixi, adversa expertus est, tibi vero plurimum debet, quippe qui juncta cum amico incomparabili Toinardo opera, tot nummorum typos ad me transmittendos curasti. quamvis enim illos a V. C. accepi, nullus dubito quin idem, te precante, eosdem tanta copia transmiserit. […] Eruditiss. ac Clariss.
