Lettre du 24 novembre 1659 (de Rome) : “come anco perché ritrovandomi già in 64 anni e con poca sanità ho giusto timore di morir prima che di terminar quelle fatiche, che sotto la direzione et efficace agiuto di Vostra Signoria Illustrissima incominciai et in sua absenzami è impossibile di continuare non che di terminare...” (“Also, being 64 and not in good health, I fear to die before I finish that job, which I started under the direction and with the important assistance of your Lordship, and due to your absence it is impossible for me to continue and to finish.”) (Pesaro, Biblioteca Oliveriana, Ms 76 s. 176 : Molinari 2000: 564, note 31 et Molinari 2020, note 34).
