-Letter of 15 Nov. 1698 (from Deventer): " lter illud mihi felix valde cessit, et varios raritatis eximiae et inéditos quantum quidem scio nummos mihi comparavi ; estque inter eos unus in quo Tiberius vocatur Imperator unicus. Qualis nunc alicubi exstet in cimeliis urbis scire equidem summopere desidero, teque etiam atque etiam rogo, ut, posthabitis gravioribus studiis tuis, eam in rem apud célebres antiquarios velis inquirere; neque enim a Mediobarbo vel ullo alio similem video recenseri. Laetor valde dissertationem meam de III Gordianis tibi probari, augere certe eam et ita historiam temporum illorum illucidare magis possem, sed illud differre constitui quia editio haec nondum gratiam novitatis exuit quanquam omnia exemplaria sint distracta." ; "Amsteloedami auctio bibliothecae habetur quam 24 annorum juvenis nomine Nicolai collegil.
