Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

Lettre du 24 octobre 1736 (d’Arnhem): I am impatient for the issue of Sicula. Havercamp has sent me two nummi «contorniati», who says he has many of the kind, and has come to the conclusion that the gaping mouths on the coin of Alexander are those of actors or masks. He refers to several further points. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 495, f° 70-71).
