24 Nov. 1567 (from Bruges): “Eersame sonderlinghe grootconstighe heer ende vriendt Dn. Pigii V. E. gesondheyt ende wolvaret, syn wy altyt begheerlik te horen; met ons syn noc halle gheleghentheden in redeliycke ghestalt duor Ghodes genaden. Also joncker Guido Laurin to hüs ghekommen is en my geseyt heeft, dat V. E. wel soude begheren te sien de medaglien van der tyt der Cross. Die in unse Fasti niet en syn to passé ghekommen, so die heb ick niet willen offte commen laeten daervan die copie, so ick die uit myn boeck te samen ghestellt hebbe V. E. tertont te senden op aventuere of daer iedt inne soude mooghen wesen, dat tot V. E. seer loflicken arbeyt mochte to passe kommen en dienstelick syn. Ick verblyde my van heer Laurin te verstaen, dat V. E. werck so verde ghecommen is, want ick daer seer naer verlange dat er vor ieghelicken mochte ghemeyn werden, versekert synde, dat sulx toor voorderinghe en van profyte van onse Fastos syn sal, die ties (tos?) ey (?) to meer sal bescheert syn. Anders niet dann seer constiger vrient my seer dienstlyck tullvorts ghebiedende met alle vriendeliycke grüdtenisse. Desen 24 nov.
