'Mr Kemp joyn’s with me in hearty Thanks for your kind favors to us in Cambridge; and take’s your kind Enquiry after him in a very thankful Part. As to his Scipio Africanus, I have seen it this day; upon the Adverse side is a Mans Naked Head, with this Epigraphe P SCIPIO AFRIC; on the Reverse is a Figure standing in a Triumphal Chariot drawn by Four Horses, & this Inscription CART SVBAC. If you have any more Quaeries about this or any other of his Coins, I shall be sure to answer them to the best of my Power.'
