28 Sept 1592 (from Antwerp): “S. V. missurus fueram, Pighi suavissime doctissimeque inscriptiunculas aliquot nuper Roma ad me à Florentio nostro missas, nec ita pridem erutas, nisi ignorarem penitus, ubi nunc terrarum degas, maximè quod dum plurimis meis, quas intra menses complusendos ad termi(?) nihil respondes, omnino mihi persuadeo te Bruxellam relinquisse. Quare si quam prin significaveris, quo meas ad imposterum mitter(?) debeam, ubi nunc agas & hanc hyemem transacturus sis /: quod te ut ita facias rogo /: quidquid is est, inscriptionum antiquarum ad te primo tempore mittendum curabo, interim ad superiores meas, quibus de numis quibusdam tuis egi, aliquid saltem respondi expectans. Salutat te ex animo & frater meus Guido & Hubertius noster, cujus Fasti uti spero sub nundinas Francofurtenses proximas in lucem se proferent. Faxit Deus.
