Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'An urn discovered in it [an old arch] with a good many silver coins, all of them common, except one of Faustina Minor, whichI had not. It represents her bust on one side, and on the reverse a lectisternium, with this inscription SAECVLI FELICITAS. I have seen, and believe I have, one of brass, with two children standing at this lady's feet; and I have seen likewise one with four children, and another with six; for as she was a very fruitful lady, the senate ordered them to be struck for her, without troubling themselves whether the honest philosopher was father to the children or not.' (Nichols 1781-1790, pp. 348-9; Burnett 2020b, p. 806 n. 136)
