Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 26 janvier 1776 (de Lapal House, West Midlands): He cannot accommodate N’s shells in his shell cabinet, beautiful though they are, and he is not prepared to part with his Saxon coins though he would be glad if he could add to N’s cabinet. He points out that he has said that he wished to part with his silver Swedish medals only in exchange with a friend for Roman or other coins, not sell for cash. He sends payment for the 3 basalt seals he has selected. He asks N. to instruct Young to procure 3 or 4 little coins, and mentions his William and Mary crown, and in a P.S. states the value of N’s shells.
