30 Nov. 1569 (from Brussels): “Nummulos mitto, quos ipse nuper ex meo cumulo selegeras, sed medio metallo transfusos ex ipsis antiquis. Quod levidense munusculum, ut ab amico profectum, ut hilari vultu accipias uelim. En omnes argenteos, inquis, quos plumbeos expectabam. Sed ita placuit collybus, Daedalio usus consilio quo medium tenere tramitem iubemur. Si quid praeterea eiusmodi rerum apud me est quae tuis studiis delectationive servire poterunt, gratissimum erit intelligere. Vehementer enim cum in his, tum in aliis quibus potero D[ominationi] V[estrae] gratificare cupio.
