Lettre du 9 décembre 1767 (de Ludgvan, Cornwall): He asks urgently about the plates, for they have not arrived. He refers to H’s. mention of Mr. Loveday a propos of his referring H. to the Harleian Catalogue: and to his account of «Scopelismus». He regrets that their old friend Mr. Wise did not become more liberal in his old age. H’s. legacy of 30 copies of his medals «you will hardly sell I believe in as many years».
