Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 12 novembre 1776 (de Windmill Sheet): Hunter subordonne la publication imprimée de ses doubles à la réponse de Barthélemy : « Tho the Cabinet du roi must now be immense, I am persuaded that there are several or many in the list herewith sent, which upon examination you would wish to have either for their preservation, or for some little variety in the type of inscription, indeed there are but few ancient coins to be met with which can be called duplicates; there is such variety » (Paris, BnF, Ms. N. acq. fr. 501, f° 35-36 ; Sarmant 2003, p. 280, notes 60 et 61).
