Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

=Letter fo 5 Dec. 1705 (from Deventer): "Fui nuper per aliquot dies Amstelaedami, et inspexi varia cimelia et inprimis illud quod pos- sidet Barius rarissimis et avey.Soxoia nummis refer- tum. Inscripti sunt characteribus plane incognitis, uli memini libi me antea significasse, sed elegantis et acris Air ingenii putat se eos nobis certo explica- turum ; ejusque nrventionis Araria mihi ostendit et scripsil indicia qua? certe laudes suas merentur. Composuit dissertationem placituram eruditis, nisi me fallo plane, de primis Hispania?. incolis; et Joli. Clericus ad eundem misit explicationes suas num- morum Gadilanorum, quas legi summa mea cum voluplate. Nunc nihil de rébus meis aliorumque doctrina? studiosorum miltam, quia rationem habeo otiitui; et dicam tantum, Elephantem meum prope- diem forte praplo subiturum, si eum ut emendem et diligenter legam negolia publica perniittunt."(Pélissier 1902-1905, Lettre XIX, p. 133).
