Lettre du 5 mars 1735 (de Venise): "Una di queste (città, ndr) fu anche la Città di Ega di Cilicia ; che ha per simbolo e per impresa parlante nella Medaglia allegata dal Cardinale Noris, dal Vaillant, e da altri, e che io pure possiedo nel mio picciol Museo, la Capra selvatica : sopra la quale dice il Vaillant (de num. gr. loq.) : Capra, unde nomen Urbis ob Caprarum eventum, quibus ducibus, & Oraculi jussu, condita est" (Zeno 1785, vol. 5, lettre n° 869, p. 89).
