-Lettre du 26 août 1681 (de Paris) : en latin : B. is soon to receive Hardovin's Pliny, and B. will be able to judge how far it fulfils its aims. He refers to the undertakings of Morell and Vaillant. He himself is engaged on old charts (charters?) (Oxford, Boleian Library, MS Smith 5 fols. 319 320).
