-Lettre du 26 novembre 1740 (de Rome): “Che importanza è se il detto frate è stato in S. Basilio tanti anni sono, e che giornalmente mi rompeva la testa d’insegnargli i luoghi dove stavano le statue in Roma, in che Villa, e in quali Palazzi; così anche stando in Napoli, e in Mileto mi mandava medaglie, e altre antichità con averglile Io pagate, e in libri, e in denari.[c. 189 v.] Se q.o commercio, sia da chiamarmi Maestro e tante altre calabresate, lo dica VS. Ill.ma Questo M.R.P.
