-Lettre du 16 septembre 1741 (de Rome): “In arrivare il M.R.P. Maccabei Barnabita Confessore di sua Santità, retirarò le cennatemi medaglie, le quali può far conto d’esser nelle sue mani mentre dalle mie non passeranno ad’altri, e se li vasi, non fossero di suo genio per li disegni che le ne mandarò, le ritornarò le pred.e medaglie. Le teste incise, sono qui talmente ricercate, che capitando a questi cercatori, trovano subito il compratore.
