Lettre du 3 fév. 1726 (de): When, two years later, the collection had still not sold, Bockleth got in touch with Maria Margaretha Sigler again, and this time she demanded 600 guilders. According to Bockleth, her change of mind was a result of much lower offers, which had been made to her by various scholars, who had had a look at the collection (Library of Göttweig Abbey Cod. 691 128r–v; voir Mayer 2020).
