-Lettre du 25 avril 1702 (de Rome) :« Clarissimo ac eruditissimo viro Andreae Morellio, Ioannes Baptista Marinella Armengol Felicitatem.Edidit Africa nostra, sed ex vetustatis latebris nova atque elegantia eruditionis monumenta (?) ac foras eduxit. Cognosces hoc, eruditissime Morelli, ex ectypis, quos hui approfici, praesertim in numolo Aemilii nuper reperto, cuius praestantia quanto commendabilis, ita excellnes apud studiosos habetur.Tu igitur qui studiis morifice faves, et omnis eruditionis segetem quam ( ?) calles ( ?) ingeni mei dissertationes, quos animi recreandi causa in his ( ?) cusi, suscipere ne designeris.Quod si in illis de illustrandam historiam familiarum Romanorun. Quam nunc sub calamo habes, aliqui boni cognoveris, uter illis velut munus summae eruditioni tuae clebitum. Sin minas, rejice, &( ?) Romanae antiquitatis arcanis doctissima Minervae Theae lumine praebe clantatem. Vale antiquitatis ( ?) et me tui amantissimum incipe amare.
