-Lettre du 23 août 1727 (de Rome) : “La ringrazio della fatica benché vana, in ricercare lo Stradiotto, e circa Monsignor Arcivescovo Ansidei, ecco quello che le posso suggerire per formare la dedicatoria. Ella il lodi per la cognizione di amendue le giurisprudenze, come ho fatto io nel Dyco. Dica che di più è affezionato alle lettere interiori e alle discipline liberali, e che ha un museo insigne di medaglie rare e di altre antichità più cospicue, che sono le sue delizie.”(Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, BVII, 12, f° 41r-v – online).
