Lettre du 3 mars 1762 (de Rome) : “Der Duca di Noya hat seine Münzen unendlich vermehrt, nachdem er auf seiner Reise nach England in allen Kabinets Münzen, die zu GrossGriechenland gehörten, theils getauscht, theils gekauft hat. Ich bin erstaunt über diesen auserlesenen Vorrath. Von Aegyptischen und Persischen geschnittenen Steinen hat niemand eine grössere Anzahl, als er” (Förster 1824, p. 103, lettre n° 205).
