-Letter of 28 November 1802 (from Weiùar): "Das Wichtigste ist die Sammlung der Mionnetischen Schwefelpasten alter Münzen. Wir haben zwar nur die erste Lieferung von 1400 Stück, die aber deswegen sehr schätzenswerth ist, weil sie die Münzen des untern Italiens, Siciliens, Griechenlands, Asiens und Ägyptens und der übrigen nördlichen afrikanischen Küste enthält.
