17 Jan. 1620 (from Paris): “Pour le cabinet du Duc d’Arschot je le vis en l’année 1606 et demeurai dix jours entiers à le visiter, de sorte que je sais bien ce qui y est, j’avais ouï dire que Mr Rubenius l’avait acheté, si non tout au moins le principal, ce serait dommage qu’un si excellent recueil tombât en main de personne mal curieuse” (Bruxelles, Bibliothèque royale de Belgique, Mss no. 5989, f° 106; Rooses & Ruelens II 1898, no. 198, p. 240).
