-Lettre du 31 août 1578 (de Tarragone) : “... rari, & buoni studii, & mandi fuori li nostri fragmenti grechi, & la fatica sорга le medaglie greche, le quali hò gran piacere, che siano in tanto gran numero cresciute. Hò visto il libro di Humberto Goltzio sopra le medaglie di Italia, & di Sicilia, & li manca qualche cosa per esser buono, non che eccellente. Desidero sapere se hà stampato sopra quelle della Grecia orientale. Io sono alle mani con la stampa delli nomi proprii delli Digesti, & certe altre cose indigeste in materia di antiquità, & di concilii” (Agustin, Opera omnia, VII, 1772, p. 261, lettre LV).
