Lettre entre noël 1558 et le 6 février 1559 (de Piedemonte d’Allife) : « Ho trovato intiera quella del Flamine Virbiale in Napoli in casa di un M. Hadriano, che ha una gran quantità di vere e di finte, e di medaglie assai » […] « Ho ancora trovate alcune medaglie, ma cose vulgari e poco rare. In Napoli ne sono assai, e buone. Bolle non ho visto troppo antiche, nè con sottoscrizioni di cardinali » (Andres 1804, Lettre XLIII, p. 361-362).
