Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 24 janvier 1735 (de Florence) : Abstract : He wants more subscriptions for production of the Museum Etruscum in which the Duke is giving him every facility; also for Xenophon Ephes. which is harassed by delays; and he would be helped on if the bookseller would strike a bargain with him. Of books edited in your parts he picks out Antoninus’ journey, and I offer you books from Italy. I congratulate you on having provided for the inclusion of H. Grotius and J. Le Clerc to enrich the anthology, which has been awaited with prolonged expectancy. Among further works mentioned are the project to publish vol. 4 of the Museum Florentinum which is to include 300 of the largest coins called medals. Fontaninus is to bring out enlarged works on eloquence, and 4 volumes of Anastasius with a wealth full of ancient monuments and inscriptions. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 499, f° 44-45).
