-Lettre du 3 février 1730 (de Vienne): "In risposta adunque al cortese foglio di V. P. Rma le dirò, che quando la prima volta mi comunicò mio fratello ciò che ella avea pensato, e da lui faceva propormi intorno al gran disegno del raccogliere, e dar fuori in un Corpo gli Autori tutti, cioè i buoni e approvati, i quali abbiano scritto sopra le Medaglie antiche col titolo, Thesaurus Rei Nummariae ecc. me ne sono di primo tratto spaventato, e benché sommamente mi piacesse il progetto, disperai quasi, che si potesse trovar qui uno stampatore, che volesse, e potesse caricarsi di un sì gran peso" (Zeno 1785, vol.
