-Lettre du 28 décembre 1726 (de Vienne): “Il giorno del Santo Natale è stato quello della pubblicazione di Antiquario Cesareo di D. Gio. Batista Panagia con assegnamento annuo di 1500. fiorini. (…) Egli in questa materia è stato mio direttore e maestro, e senza lui non mi sarei mai arrischiato di entrare in sì difficile studio (delle monete antiche), dove non si è mai abbastanza né sicuro, né dotto. Godo di avergli potuto dare questo contrassegno di riconoscenza, confessato apertamente da lui (Zeno 1785, vol. IV, Lett. 703, p. 161; Tomassoni 2021, p. 42, note 102).
