Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
Lettre du 20 septembre 1681 (de Padoue) : Patin warned his friend that Brambilla often sold counterfeit coins instead of authentic ones, «and many people complain of this fact». He prayed Averoldi that the merchant did not know what he had written, because he was in contact with him too (Padova, Museo Bottacin, MB 855, c. [24] ; voir Callegari 2020).
