Lettre du 1 juillet 1682 (de Padoue) : he described denarii of Diadumenianus, the son of Macrinus, with the inscription PRINC IVVENTVTIS (fig. 3) and SPES PVBLICA (fig. 4), which Patin had bought for two or three ducats in the past. He also informed him that the Diadumenianus’ bronze coins were very expensive, because they were rarer. (Padova, Museo Bottacin, MB 855, c. [31] ; voir Callegari 2020).
