Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

Lettre du 22 juin 1686 (de Padoue) : Brambilla in fact could not sell many coins to Camillo Silvestri of Rovigo who had discovered that the silver ones were just a lure to attract potential customers for other coins of lower value. «Brambillam novimus ignarum, stolidum, ne pejus dicam»: this was the final Patin comment about him (Padova, Museo Bottacin, MB 855, c. [72-73] ; voir Callegari 2020).
