-Lettre du 27 octobre 1762 (de Madrid) : Amigo y señor: De los Camafeos no se puede hablar, sin saber el tamaño, en que pende mucha parte del precio. Item [tachado: en] si es legítimo antiguo, pues los hay modernos, como sucede en las Medallas. Lo 3°, lo bien o mal entallado, pues aún en lo antiguo había oficiales rudos, cuya obra no se estima. Sin inspección de estas tres cosas no se puede hablar de valores.
