-Lettre antérieure au 5 août 1647 : collectione les monnaies depuis 31 ans et pense donner à la publication ses exemplaires rares : « … le dico in risposta ch’havendo io nello spatio di 31 anni fatto acquisto di una numerosa quantità di medaglioni rarissimi e di medaglie greche e di colonie curiose assai havevo pensiero coll’aiuto di Dio di darle io alle estampe » (Since in the space of 31 years I have bought a large number of very rare medallions and interesting Greek and colonial coins, I have been considering, with the help of God, publishing them) (Pesaro, Biblioteca Oliveriana, MS 76, c. 7 ; voir Missere Fontana 2009, p. 277, note 271 et Molinari 2020, note 20).
