-Lettre du 15 déc. 1657 (de Rome) : « Il padrone me ne domanda da principio dieci scudi, non essendone in Roma che un’altra sola, et allora me l’averia lasciata per scudi sei, ma non avendoli potuto io dar alcuna risposta, vista da diversi, se n’è invaghito per la sua gran conservazione e bellezza, un gentil’uomo lorenese, quale, se ben gli ha offerto sino a 3 doble, con tutto ciò questa mattina il padrone, che cognosce il suo vantaggio, non gliela aveva voluta ultimare, temo però che s’aggiusteranno » (Firenze, ASF, Carteggio d’Artisti, VIII, c. 650 ; voir Fileti Mazza 1998, p. 265, doc. 179).
