Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre de 1651 (après août – fol. 232v-233v) : reconnaît la fabrique et la patine moderne donnée par Dario Giusti : « la manufattura è di Dario Giusti cher serviva di rinettar medaglie il grand duca Francesco et la riconosco francamente dal colore o patina che ha sopra, perchè Girolamo suo figlio, quale haveva tutti li segreti del padre, dava simil patina, ad alcune medaglie che rinettava, com’io ho veduto molte volte nelle mie, et in altre d’amici » ; sur une rarissime Flavia Tiziana supposée avoir été frappée à Alexandrie : « vi si vedono di più nella nave … alcune botte del ferro et angoli certi che non corrispondono alla maniera della città e a simil cogno », les inscriptions ont été retouchées, la monnaies est « senza patina antica, ritocca e con qualche sospetto » ; cite Occo et Goltz (voir Misserre Fontana 2009, p. 207, note 170, p. 261, note 162, p. 262, note 165, p. 268, note 215).
