-Lettre du 9 nov. 1652 : soutient que les monnaies de bronze sont des médailles commémoratives : « Ricordando sempre a V.S. ch’essendo servite le medaglie d’oro per monete, non si faceva in esse quella diligenza che si faceva nelle medaglie de’ rame, ch’erano battute per honorevolezza di quegl’imperatori et per le loro imprese e fabriche » (voir Missere Fontana 2009, p. 206, note 164, p. 268, note 217).
