-Lettre du 13 septembre 1738 (de Rome): “Diretta a VS. Ill.ma farà retirare da cotesto procaccio un pachetto grande quadro ricoperto legato, e suggellato, entro del quale trovarà lettera per il S.r Cav.re Carlo Frederich, e due pachetti, cioè copia manoscritta di 130 fogli di medaglie ereditarie della Regina Christina, quale con detta lettera si compiacerà consegnare al sud.o S.r Frederich dal quale mi fu ordinato, ed è costato scudi undici al copista, quali se detto Sig.re le li pagarà, li serbarà per mio conto; Se poi VS. Ill.ma ne desidera copia, la servirò con descrizzione più breve, poiché vi sono quasi la metà delle parole superflue, ma così volle q.o S.r Duca di Bracciano per sua più intelligenza, mentre essendovi [‘] nell’eredità, in caso egli l’avesse vendute, per regolarsi la stima da detto inventario, e come fò copiare per il med.mo le medaglie d’oro de Certosini, e quelle del fu Em.mo Gualtieri, sono in latino e brevi e le ne rendarò servito, se le piacerà.” (Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, ACC XIII, f°333r-334r – online).
