-Lettre du 14 février 1739 (de Rome): “Godo che li disegni favoritomi dall’Ecc.mo Sig.r D. Francesco Enrico de Grassi conte di Pianura di Napoli, le siano riusciti propri. Questo personaggio, che conosco solo per lettere, è oriundo da Bologna da nobili Grassi il cui padre scasò da detta città, e si stabilì in Napoli, e ardisco dire, che in trattare supera [c. 264 v.] ogni nobile napolitano, ed avendogli alle volte raccommandatogli Cav.ri delettanti, gli ha accolti e regalati, ed Io avendolo servito di medaglie più onestamente che potei” (Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, AXIII, 1, f° 264r-267r – online).
