-Lettre du 26 septembre 1744 (de Rome): “Dal Sig.r Carlo Frederich dopo l’ult.a lettera di Parigi, non ho avuto altra, e pure mi lasciò nota d’alcune medaglie che desiderava, ma è costume de Britanni, che giunti nel lor paese, si scordano di tutto, e q.o l’ho pratticato generalmente. ... Onde a VS.
