Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 11 septembre 1697 (de Nijmegen) : He thanks him for «Callimachus» but has not yet been able to read Spanheim’s notes. Smetius has shown him a beautiful Greek or Egyptian coin of Galba which might have ornamented my Gordiani. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 478, f° 136).
