-Lettre du 27 de l’an 1711 (de Deventer) : p. 89 : « Je crois avec vous que la médaille, dont je vous ai envoyé copie, est gothique, elle en a assurément les marques, et je m’imagine que le graveur a voulu nous donner sur un côté un homme » ; p. 90 : « je ne manquerai pas de dire mon sentiment sur la dissertation de Mr. Schott, où il explique la médaille de Phidon, aussitôt que je l’aurai lue » ; p. 90 : « Je tâcherai de trouver moyen de faire venir ici les médailles arabes, que vous avez fait jeter en cuivre, aussitôt que Mr. le Comte de Flodrof sera arrivé, et je les enverrai copiées à Mr. Galland, à qui je ferai tenir en peu de jours celles qui sont tirées sur des cartes à jouer » (Cuper 1743, XXVI, p. 89-90).
