Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

Lettre du 12 avril 1726 (de Göttweig Abbey): Instead, he gave clear instructions for the transaction: before paying the money, Bockleth should inspect the collection, count the pieces and compare them to the catalogue. After payment, the collection should immediately be transported to Vienna. Concerning transportation, Bessel considered the walnut cabinet as not suitable and asked Bockleth to have a wooden box made. (Library of Göttweig Abbey Cod. 691 129r–130v; voir Mayer 2020).
