Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

Lettre du 14 avril 1736 (d’Arnhem) : He is concerned for a remedy to clean from rust and restore the colour of the ancient coins he had stowed away. He is displeased with the sample engraving of tables of the Domburg «monumenta» produced by the Artificer engaged, and if he continues to produce such a poor standard of work it would be waste of money to go on. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 495 fols. 62).
