-6 juil. 1690 (Paris) : commentaire sur la querelle entre Noris et Hardouin, nouveau triomphe du premier : « Apud nos magno plausu acceptus est liber eruditissimi P. Norisii De Epochis Syro-Macedonum, quo nihil hoc in genere limatius, et elaboratius : materia haec novi belli sed litterarii inter Norisium et Hardiunum Societatis Jesu, qui in toto ist opere vapulat. Sed nova erit Norisio triumphi materies « (Valéry 1846 vol. 2, lettre CCXLIV, p. 287).
