Lettre du 21 septembre 1724 (de): About a month later, Olearius provided a more detailed catalogue in which he defined the number of coins for each category and the material they were made of. In total, the collection contained 3,087 objects, among them 2,251 silver coins, 461 copper coins, 292 tin coins and 83 lead coins. Johann Christian Olearius also added a few lines, in which he confirmed that his father would also sell some of the books from his library Bessel had asked for (Library of Göttweig Abbey Cod. 691 85r–86v, 110r–111v; Mayer 2020).
