-Lettre du 13 janvier 1759 (de Florence) : Description de le collection Stosch: „Ich könnte den berühmten Meleager anführen, welcher in Kupfer gestochen und bekannt ist: ein anderer würde eine Victorie nehmen, die noch schöner ist, als die aus den schönsten Münzen von Syracus, und ein Gewand hat, wie die borghesische Tänzerinnen: deiser würde eine grosse Atalanta in Amethyst nicht nachstehen wollen“ (Rehm I 1952, n° 262, p. 446 ; Callataÿ 2007, p. 596).
